Instead of scooting around in user Library files you should check out an app like AppZapper or AppCleaner, it does it for you. TapApps or Application manager. They don't take up much space, and Apple provides no way to get them back beyond reinstalling OS X on your Mac. If it doesn’t end in .plist but contains that in the name, it’s likely a backup or temporary file. I do not if AppCleaner supports that too.
